Here at The Dog Squad, we try to match the abilities of our customers to the challenge of the walk. A typical High Energy walk would be approx 4-6 miles, incorporating running, hills and some games of "fetch" with the many squad toys we take on every walk. So if you've got a "never knows when to stop" kind of dog, maybe book him in for The Boulsworth Blast. A 6 mile route around a local landmark.
If your dog isn't quite up to the rigours of the Boulsworth Blast, why not consider one of our Medium Intensity walks. Typically between 2 and 4 miles, taking on some gentler hills and more time to play with the toys and their friends. The Wycoller Wander is a great example of this, 3 miles long through open fields, along tracks and some exploration time in the woods.
Finally, if you have a young pup that needs to build up her fitness, an elderly dog that is just happy to be out having a nosey, then why not consider our Low Energy walks. Typically between 1 and 2 miles, at a leisurely pace, with frequent stops and an occasional home-baked doggy cookie. The Terrier's Tea party is ideal for this kind of dog. It's a gentle walk along the river, with a stop halfway for Doggy Tea and a biscuit.
Below are just a few examples of the information you could receive about your dog and his day. Details of the routes, elevations, pace, calories burned and then, how much sleep they had after all their exertions!
